Wooden eye!

There is something so damn manly about logs!

I wish i had a massive axe, a forest, and the need to make logs.

Because, if i had logs i could get one of these, and that would make me happy.

Thanks wood, thanks trees, thanks logs.

Chladni Plate.

This is lush!

It's a Chladni Plate.

It is a right old fashioned way of demonstrating sound waves, the patterns on the top are made from grains of sand.

This dude, Nik Schwabe, is a bit like an old Aphex Twin.

Apparently the note he hits right at the end was so high it nearly blew the ears off the bloke filming.

Come on Nik Schwabe, let's have some Aphex acid.

Icon fly!

Have you seen this little beauty?

I so need one of these!

I reckon i could keep her on the Thames down in Surbiton, sure the old timers in their little dinghies wouldn't mind as i take off and land.

10 4 10 4 rubber duckie.

Crazy spinning man!

This dude is some kind of crazy ninja!

Hiiiiiiiii ya!!!

Benedict Radcliffe.

Benedict Radcliffe is a bloke who makes things, like real things.

He made this.

I like it, i like this.

Gunna need a bigger boat!

City Shark by Eric Ku.

This is really nice too.

Thanks Eric.

The world hasn't seen better!

And still, to this day, you won't find anything on the internationalnet better than this*.

You just won't.

The Lions.

I like rugby, i really do, and this weekend i will like rugby more as The Lions tour begins.

Oddly, to coincide with the tour beginning some clever people have put some nice video clips together kind of advertising the start of the tour.

Well done clever people, i like your advertising the tour materials.

Mike Jordan.

I must admit, over the last couple of months i have gone off white trainers, but i will always get over excited when it comes to the release of old Air Jordans.

The Four Pint Club™

The Four Pint Club congregated for the 5th time last night, and might i say that the format is still working just fine indeed thanks very much.

A change from the norm meant that i didn't have to consume 4 pints of 7.5% cider so i was personally rather thrilled.

The highlight for me was the resurrection of Ninja Coins, a game i created some time ago which make one rummage on the floor making all around believe you have lost your contact lens.

Well done TFPC, put a ring on in.

Marioh yes please!

Imagine if this were fo'real!

Fo'show!

This dude has created some lovely skateboard designs.

Who loves ya baby.

If only i'd been cleverer.

I love this story about big Tony Steen.

Listen to this interview, it's brilliant, he's brilliant.

Is it any wonder we are all so cross when there are people like this being paid using our hard earned cash.

Well done Tone, keep it up old boy.

Letter av'it!

Have a look here at some beautiful examples and creative typography.

Nice! Well nails!

Spaceballs.

This is simply wonderful.

These boys are clever!

This is simply wonderful too.

Thank you Multitouch, thank you.

Speaking of Spaceballs...

A fruity mix.

Just seen this.

Nice tune, nice stop frame.

Nice.

Isolated Building Study.

'The Isolated Building Studies are the visual confluence of my interests in urban dynamism, socioeconomic inequality and photography. By using uniform composition in photographs of buildings with no neighboring structures, I hope to draw attention to new ways of seeing the common impact of divergent investment processes on urban communities.'

I couldn't have put it better myself, well done.

Look at this now.

Lush!

Posterous.

I enjoy blogging, i really do, and i enjoy using Blogger, but things evolve don't they, 'it' evolves, and therefore 'we' evolve.

With this in mind i am trying out Posterous.

It appears to be very simple to use indeed, but perhaps is more a place to bookmark content, rather than to sculpt and consider, it has a bit of a throw away feel to it.

Anyway, I am here too if you fancy taking a look.

Goodbye.

Thanks you Rubbish.

Warp20.

Always been a lover of Warp Records. With Boards of Canada and Aphex Twin how couldn't you.

It is their 20th anniversary this year and they are putting together a compilation of all their best tunes and it is our job to pick the tunes on the album.

If you are a fan like me and would like to get involved then go here and have a looksie and get voting.

And speaking of music, have you heard this? Awesome 8 bit magic.

Mint Sauce.

Wow, i had forgotten about Mint Sauce.

He was a mountain biking sheep that appeared in Mountain Biking United Kingdom magazine back in the 90's.

He was awesome.

Anyway, do have a look, the strips were lush, even if you didn't like bunging yourself down a big hill on push bicycle.

Thanks Jo Burt.

You Are What You Eat.

Nice little idea from Mark Menjivar where he wants you to submit a photo of your fridge to him.

Nice thought, but i really want to see the people behind the contents, especially as it is called 'You Are What You Eat'.

Anyway, nice work Mark, super.

Lapel badgers.

Most of us find it awfully annoying when we get stopped daily by chuggers.

So i came up with a simple solution.

Lapel badges that carry a simple message to let them know not to stop you.

They should be bright so they can be seen from a distance, then, when they catch your eye at 50 yards you just give the badge a glance, and they would give you the nod.

For the more daring, i am going to do a series of lapel badgers, these are bigger and heavier but carry a similar message.

P.S I am listening to French Hip Hop. I would love to hear French Gangsta Rap, i bet they could make that sound musical and sophisticated.

Baisez la police motherfucking!

Google off-roading.

Google Street View is going off road, i am sure lots of Daily Mail readers will of course complain, but i think this is an ace idea.

I didn't really see the point of Street View, obviously apart from looking at potential places to stay on holiday or places to break in to, but this is ace.

Now you will be able to see landmarks, viewpoints, coastal walks, parks etc.

All these type things are far more interesting that just seeing streets with cars in.

Well done Google.

And i love the way they report it will be 'Ridden by a super-fit employee'. Tight. Well tight.

Can't wait for the first time dirty scallys pinch it and try and evade the cops, it would make for some great police chase footage.

Mix Master Pogo.

I was just looking at Pete's blog and he had a link to this chap.

He makes magic things mashing up clips from films.

Lush work Pogo.

Here & There

Jack Schulze has made this awesome thing.

Such an ace way of letting you know where you are in relation to the bigger picture.

Nice, thanks Jack and your friends.

Seen on Rubbish.

Paper view.

Simon Schubert is a very clever man indeed, although it looks like the lead in his pencil has run out, or his Bic is empty.

'Schubert dip' would be my response, if he was using a quill.

I like the girl in the mirror.

Spread your wings.

I don't really do cars, but this has got me rather excited.

The Mercedes 300SL was indeed one of the most beautiful things ever designed, of course, falling someway behind the Ducati Monster. So i am rather thrilled to see that it could well me making a come back, and what a come back. If this is how it is going to look i guess i best start saving.

Anyone lend me a tenner?

Banks alot!

And so it just dawned on me.

We all have a severe dislike of MP's and Banks at the moment, and rightfully so as they have all appear to be pulling wool over our eyes for their greater good.

However, think this, without Banks we wouldn't have 2 extra days off in May!

Why oh why didn't they use that in their defence when it all kicked off?

'Yeah, we might have been attempting to make cock loads more cash by selling products to people who we knew couldn't pay it back, but without us you lot wouldn't have a happy May and a nice end to August, so back off yeah'

Anyway, i'll leave you with it.

Fork me that's good.

Tibits - a vegetarian restaurant chain in Switzerland - thought of a lovely way to advertise their goods around the country.

Swiss off bad ideas, hallo good ones.

Rusty Lee.

To make sure Michael's house in Toronto never got rusty, he made it out of rust.

It's lush, and very much reminds me of a nightclub i saw in Scotland.

Instead of jabbing their arms with smack, the locals would have been jabbing their arms with TB.

8 Bitty!

Suck on the nipple that is the Retro Mini Handheld.

Plug in all your 8 bit cartridges and off you go.

Flippin lovely.

Frenzy!

Speaking of Grizzly Bears, Josh Keyes - who i admire alot - has created some new pieces.

Very nice work Josh, loving Frenzy, ace.

And relax...

Hear me roar!

I enjoy music, it makes me feel things, good things, bad things, things.

Anyway, I was looking at Facebook yesterday, believe me, generally i don't, but i was, and i saw that a rather cool friend of mine was talking about Grizzly Bear which made me think that i should probably give them a listen.

So there i was, flicking through the content of my personal stereo and i happened upon them. (Unbeknown to me i am cool and intouch). I started to listen to them and it reminded me of this. And then i couldn't listen to Grizzly Bear anymore, sorry Grizzly Bear, TV ads are indeed destroying niche music.

Anyway, sorry, i am tangenting.

My point was supposed to be that your iPod/MP3 player should keep track of the different times you listen to different music, then when you sync to your workstation it downloads all that information and plots it all onto a big global chart of what music is listened to and when.

I would love to see what people listen to in the morning, during the day, at night, even get some inspiration from it.

I am sure i am way behind the curve and iTunes already does it, but hey, i listen to Grizzly Bear, i am pretty trendy and cool.

Next!

D.I.Y.W!

Do it yourself Wolverine.

This man is hungry! Hungry like the wolf!

Aaaaaaawwooooooooooooooooooo!

Nice sofa by the way mate.

Make your own here. Thanks Indy Mogul.

Webby winner!

It IS getting slightly tedious, but the Smart site i worked on won the Webby Award it was up for. Stop now please, that's it.

Well done everyone in the world.

The new girlfriend.

I have been trying out online dating now for a while, not all that successfully i might add and i figured out that it is actually easier to pay for girls, i have heard people say it, but always though it sounded rather seedy, dirty.

Anyway, i got on the bandwagon and purchased a new girlfriend!

She is amazing! It's amazing!

Italian, young! Very young, perhaps to young for me, but age sometimes isn't a problem, you can learn to live with each other.

We are so comfortable together, admittedly it took a bit of time, girls are like that, but after a couple of intimate moments we really felt like one.

It's incredible.

I took some photos of her, sure you will agree she is hot, well hot.

And the best bit is only 2 other people have ridden her. I know that sounds harsh, but the less action she has had the better, obviously.

Nicholas William Dennis Hodgson.

A classic from 1990. My my my, thats 19 years ago.

Hear me now!

Thanks Nick.

Plane brilliance!

Recently i seem to have taken a liking to remote control planes.

No idea why.

Anyway, i found another one.

Check it.

Well lush!
